Private by design, not by promise
Shtello One is built so that we cannot read what you save. Not because of a policy, but because of how it works.
- 1
Your password stays on your device
When you sign in, your phone turns your password into two things: a code that proves it is you, and a key that unlocks your data. Only the code is sent to us, and we keep just a one-way fingerprint of it.
- 2
Your data is locked before it leaves
Your tasks, plans, notes and knowledge bank are encrypted on your device with AES-256, the same strength banks use. What reaches our servers is sealed, so it syncs to your other devices without us being able to read it.
- 3
The AI sees only what one answer needs
When you ask for help, your device sends just what is needed for that answer, over an encrypted connection. We do not store it, and it is never used to train AI.
- 4
Connections are read only
Your email, calendars and files are read, never changed, sent or deleted. Your sign-in tokens are kept encrypted with the rest of your data.
The full details are in our Privacy Policy.
One thing we will ask of you
Save your recovery key when you sign up. It is the only other way into your account. If you lose your password and your recovery key, no one can get your data back, including us. That is the price of real privacy, and we think it is worth it.
Privacy questions
Can Shtello read my data?
No. Your data is encrypted on your device with a key only you hold. We store it sealed and cannot open it.
What if I forget my password?
Use the recovery key you saved when you signed up. Because we cannot read your data, we cannot reset your password for you, so keep that key somewhere safe.
Do you sell data or show ads?
Never. Shtello One is paid for by its plans, so there is no reason to sell anything about you, and we do not use ads or tracking cookies.
Can I delete everything?
Yes. Delete your account in the app and your account, your encrypted data and any background checks are removed from our servers.
